WOW!! Unbelievable how quickly he bounced back from such a major surgery! Boggles my mind at how resilient and stoic he is. The love you have for each other is tangible.
He's definitely a special guy. I was thinking that if it had been me loosing an appendage, it would take months just to get over my vanity and the psychological impact, to say nothing of the physical healing. There's a lot of important stuff Buddy's teaching me.
